"Setting a Sound Foundation for Decision Making"

Speaker:

Dan Walker

President

Rivers End Consulting

Program Summary

Most businesses would never think of operating without a mission statement. It gives them a foundation for making difficult decisions in a timely fashion. However, many of those same business owners have never thought of developing a personal mission statement. This oversight strips them of the power to make business decisions in harmony with personal objectives. The process introduced during this presentation has been instrumental in improving the lives of many of the presenter’s personal coaching clients. The participants will leave with the beginnings of a personal mission statement.

This session is directed to those who wish to focus their professional and personal lives on what is important to them. The presenter will share a little about his personal struggles and successes. The session will culminate in the presenter leading the audience through the process of starting a “Personal Mission Statement”.

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Make decision making easier by keeping what's important in mind
  • Establish a foundation for decision making with a Personal Mission Statement
  • Understand how to leverage the Personal Mission Statement
