Program Summary

No matter how well you design and deliver learning within your organization, to establish real credibility and prove value you need to measure whether or not participants actually applied what they learned once they returned to their jobs (Level 3 evaluation).  Unfortunately, measuring on-the-job behavior change is not something many L&D professionals have much experience with nor know much about.  And some who think they do, are often relying on out-dated concepts and techniques formulated more than 50 years ago and long since outdated.  So, what is the solution?  The answer, quite simply, is become knowledgeable about what well designed Level 3 evaluations look like.

In this half-day session, you will analyze the common mistakes made by many L&D professionals when creating Level 3 participant surveys and learn tips and practical solutions for overcoming these mistakes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Examine various sources for measuring Level 3 behavior and guidelines for selecting the best source.
  • Analyze the common mistakes made by many L&D professionals when creating Level 3 participant surveys.
  • Discover 12 tips and practical techniques for overcoming these mistakes and capture data that demonstrates program value.
