Program Summary
Over 95% of the population has a smartphone. Time spent on mobile devices is more than time spent on laptops, 51% versus 42%. These statistics are strong evidence that learning on a mobile device is a logical path moving forward for learning and development.
The 2-Way Delegation app is a two-year project that encompasses leadership, the topic of delegation, and app technology. The app combines complex content, application activities, automatic-scoring self-assessment, videos, downloadable worksheets, community response viewing, and an in-app feedback system.
This presentation discusses the following two questions:
- Can a mobile app increase behavior change associated with learning?
- Can a mobile app increase an organization’s return on learning and development investment dollars?
Learning Objectives
Participants will learn:
- Explain how app functionality will increase the retention and demonstration of knowledge and skills.
- State app functionality that surpasses the complexity provided by computer-based and web-based learning channels.
- Discuss the implications of this new use of app functionality to increase ROI on learning and development dollars spent

About the Speaker
Diane Morrison, owner of 2-Way Communications, LLC, is the author and developer of the mobile app. Diane has taught over 17,000 leaders. Her leadership knowledge comes from her 30-year personal leadership journey and the experience of the leaders she has taught or coached over the last 20 years.

Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00pm on Friday, November 4th.Cancellations received prior to this time/date can be 1) refunded to the credit card less a $5 processing fee or 2)transferred to the next scheduled ATD Detroit meeting date.
Refunds after this date cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
