Session Description


If you are considering a move to L&D or have recently embarked upon your career - you likely have a lot of questions! Join us for a lively discussion about resources you should check out, advice from new and experienced L&D professionals, and a chance to ask any question you might have brewing!

Panelist

Joyce Katona

With 25 years’ experience in training and performance improvement, Innovative Learning Group Project Manager and Instructional Designer, Joyce Katona contributes to ILG’s already robust capabilities by working with clients to determine their needs and provide them with the learning solutions necessary to improve business results. She has applied her skills and knowledge across many projects in a variety of industries, including automotive, insurance, manufacturing, and state government.

Joyce has long-standing ties to Oakland University (OU) in Rochester, Michigan, where she is now a special lecturer. Previously, she earned a doctorate in education with a focus on organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in human resource development from OU. Joyce also has a master’s degree in adult learning from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
