Who here has their own website/online portfolio? What platform did you use to create it? What was your experience like?

I am currently using Wix to build a custom website to showcase my work, act as a central location for a larger social media campaign, and host my doctoral research. I decided against using a template for building the site and am just kind of freewheeling this thing. It is an interesting project so far.

Anybody else have samples and experiences to share? As I build up the site, i'll post samples here. As I become an "Expert" in Wix, i'll be able to help out others build their sites as well.

    Hi Eric!

I've used Wordpress in the past just for a basic blog-style website to post articles, podcast links, embedded youtube videos. It worked pretty well, as long as you don't want anything too custom/fancy.

I love weebly. I've been using it for years and it only gets better with time.

Here's my portfolio for reference. I've created sites on Wix and wordpress but I keep coming back to weebly.

I have mine on Wix but I cannot figure out how to show each project in a story format.
