Most companies don't really know what it takes to do a job well, because they don't have a good understanding of the jobs. In this session, learn how to uncover what really separates your top performers from the rest to improve your organization's selection, training, performance management, and more.

The session contains a live demonstration of a job analysis technique that uses the audience as subject matter experts and job analysts.

Session Objectives:

In this seminar, you will learn:

• Define job analysis and describe its role in HR
• Analyze jobs using an abridged version of the critical incident technique job analysis method
•  Recognize problems in HR functions (selection, training, performance management, etc.) stemming from incomplete job analysis

Bio:

Jessica Tower founded Tower & Company in 2017. Tower & Company helps mission-driven organizations prepare their people for success in the 21st century. Jessica has a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Wayne State University, where she currently serves as adjunct faculty. She earned her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, where she studied both creative writing and Human/Organizational Development.
